I'm so happy with my natural hair and I thought why not share it with you guys for the first time. I've been natural for 3 years now and for some odd reason my natural hair is always hidden underneath protective hairstyles. As you can see from the pictures, YOUR GIRL HAS HAIR LOL!

Once in a while I let me hair breathe for a week or so and I always feel so liberated. It's also nice to see how much bigger my afro is haha! I would say my hair is 4c "hair type" and although I often hear a lot of women complaining about how hard it is to detangle their 4c hair, I have gotten used to it and I find it therapeutic at times.

Don't get me wrong, I have had moments where I was close to relaxing my hair just to have that bone straight weave with a relaxed leave out but I knew it would be a temporary high. Plus my sister Kelly would never let me relax my hair again because she knows I'll regret it.

I have nothing against anyone that uses relaxers or texturisers in their hair by the way, it's just my personal preference.

Mazuri - Edge Wax

I recently tried Mazuri's Edge wax and I have to be honest. My hair is really kinky so myself and other girls with my hair type are not able to find edge controls that do not flake up and hold for a long period of time.

Unfortunately this happened for me with this Edge wax. It probably laid my edges for a total of 10 minutes and then started flaking. I can say though that I smells lovely and all hair types are different so what works me may not work for you and vice versa. Try it out and see if it works for you and let me know.

Mazuri - Edge Wax can be found in the beauty section at Tesco.

I will be doing natural hair video's on my Youtube Channel with my girl Nessa (search Zina & Nessa). Video's will include product reviews, protective styles and our overall  journey.

If you know any good edge controls that work for 4c please comment below.
